Carolina Sacramento is a Health Management Analyst at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) and a Collaborating Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Informatics at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), where she is also the vice-coordinator of the Accessibility and Usability Center. She coordinates the Innovation Project “Accessibility in Images using Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Models” within Inova Gestão Fiocruz. She holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Informatics from UNIRIO. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics and Information Technology from UERJ. She is a member of the Commission for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (CIDE) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). She has experience conducting Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research on digital accessibility and developing and validating accessible websites and systems, including award-winning projects. Her research interests focus on the areas of Human-Computer Interaction with special attention to Digital Accessibility; Information Systems; Software Testing and Quality..
